In some cases, it may be necessary to take control of your screen as a user. This is especially true when a concession does not have an IT contract with CARYA, or when, for any reason, it is not possible to access the laptop or computer in the usual way. Fortunately, carya.help offers a convenient solution to make this process simple and efficient.
How do you get there? That’s a good question! You can access it via the customer portal or go directly to carya.help
Going through the customer portal?
Go to the Customer Portal and look for the Take Over My Screen option in the top right corner of the screen.
Click Take Over My Screen in the top right corner, and carya.help will open.

Start a New Session
- Click on "Start a new session" to begin.
- Enter your name: Under Join session, type your name in the Your name field and click Start session.
- Download the app: You may be prompted to download the app. Go to your downloads (top right corner of your browser) and click the downloaded file to install it.
- Run the app: After installation, a pop-up will appear. Click Run. You will receive a notification once you're successfully connected to the session.
- Share your entered name with the CARYA staff member: Let the CARYA staff member know the name you entered so they can identify and take over your session.
- End the session: When the session is finished, the CARYA staff member will close it, which will disconnect your screen.
These simple steps ensure that both users without an IT contract and users with a question or issue can access support through screen sharing using carya.help. It enables our staff to provide effective assistance, even when the usual method of taking over the screen is not available.
